Director, Project Engineering

📋 Description

• Lead planning, development, and execution of capital projects across a regional manufacturing
• Manage multi-million-dollar capital expenditure programs with budget control and resource
• Partner with operations, engineering, finance, and site leadership to set project strategies.
• Oversee projects from concept to commissioning, ensuring timelines, budgets, safety, and compliance.
• Direct external engineering firms, contractors, equipment manufacturers, and suppliers.
• Implement structured project management, including scope, risk, cost, scheduling, and change

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field required.
• 12+ years of experience managing large-scale capital projects in manufacturing.
• Master’s degree preferred; PMP or equivalent is an advantage.
• Proven expertise in budgeting, cost control, scheduling, and execution.
• Experience with engineering firms, contractors, vendors, and equipment suppliers.
• Knowledge of food safety standards, OSHA, and environmental/industrial safety practices.
