Director, Research & Data

📋 Description

• Work with Data Science team to translate the needs of new indications into specific data
• Identify, evaluate, and build relationships with researchers, physician advisors, and academic
• Evaluate research proposals from external investigators for scientific merit, clinical relevance
• Lead EMR integration efforts with partner hospitals to obtain linked clinical context and outcomes
• Assess the quality and fit of incoming datasets (label quality, cohort definition, population
• Partner with Legal, Regulatory, and Privacy on data use agreements, IRB requirements

🎯 Requirements

• Advanced degree (MD, PhD, PharmD, DNP, or equivalent) in a clinical or research-oriented field
• At least 5 years of experience in clinical research, healthcare, or medical technology, with a
• Strong clinical and research judgment, including the ability to evaluate study design, research
• Working knowledge of data science and machine learning fundamentals sufficient to judge dataset
• Working knowledge of basic statistics, including sample size and power, confidence intervals
• Experience with EMR data and integrations, or clinical informatics projects.
