Director, Revenue Accounting

📋 Description

• Manage the revenue accounting function; ASC 606 compliance.
• Oversee invoicing, revenue recognition, deferred revenue, and WIP.
• Manage monthly close, reconciliations, and financial reporting.
• Review contracts for revenue recognition per accounting standards.
• Lead internal and external audits; strengthen internal controls.
• Develop a strong team and optimize Workday and related financial systems.

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA preferred.
• 5-10 years progressive accounting experience; 3+ years leading revenue accounting teams.
• Proven experience building and mentoring teams of 4-6 accountants.
• Deep expertise in ASC 606, deferred revenue, WIP, billing, invoicing, close, reporting.
• Experience supporting internal and external audits and strong internal controls.
• ERP/financial systems experience; Workday preferred; Salesforce/Adaptive Planning a plus.
