Director, Software Engineering - Consumer

📋 Description

• Set vision and strategy for the consumer engineering org across four teams.
• Lead engineering managers; guide architecture and roadmap decisions.
• Shape AI opportunities and guide responsible adoption across products.
• Partner with VP Eng, product leadership, and stakeholders to unblock teams.
• Own cross-team collaboration for web, iOS, Android, and backend systems.
• Build a high-performing, scalable org; coach leaders and enable growth.

🎯 Requirements

• 3+ years leading as a Director or Sr Engineering Manager with multiple teams.
• Proven track record scaling consumer engineering orgs in fast-moving consumer companies.
• Hands-on depth in backend systems, APIs, mobile dev, or full-stack.
• Experience shipping consumer platforms across web and mobile.
• Strong communication; translate business strategy into technical execution.
• Remote-first leadership across time zones; ownership and hiring.
