Director, Sourcing - Luggage & Accessories

📋 Description

• Own global sourcing strategy and vendor relationships for Luggage & Travel.
• Lead vendor onboarding, quality reviews, and negotiations to improve COGS and margins.
• Drive operational rigor across the global supply base: reduce lead times, on-time delivery, and SLAs.
• Identify and onboard new vendor partners with scalable capacity and quality.
• Visit vendor partners regularly to build relationships, troubleshoot issues, and conduct reviews.
• Partner with Merchandising, Planning, and Operations to ensure smooth launches.
• Ensure ethical sourcing and compliance standards across all partners.

🎯 Requirements

• 15+ years in strategic sourcing, procurement or supplier management with US retailers.
• Extensive factory connections within the category globally.
• Experience designing and cost-engineering products with factory/vendor expertise.
• GM mindset with supply chain, manufacturing lean/JIT experience.
• Highly organized, detail-oriented, and analytical; strong execution.
• Curious, proactive, open to new perspectives; adaptable.
• Excellent written/verbal communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
• Bachelor's Degree, preferred.
