Director, Technical Accounting

📋 Description

• Lead the research, evaluation, and documentation of complex and non-routine accounting matters
• Prepare and review technical accounting memoranda that document authoritative guidance, significant
• Lead technical accounting for mergers, acquisitions, divestitures, and other strategic
• Partner with Legal, Tax, Treasury, Corporate Development, FP&A, Financial Reporting, and other
• Review quarterly and annual financial statements, footnote disclosures, and supporting
• Serve as a key technical accounting contact for external auditors and support quarterly reviews and

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field
• Active CPA license
• At least 7 years of progressive accounting experience, including public accounting and/or technical
• M&A transaction experience, including accounting for acquisitions, divestitures, business
• Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP and demonstrated ability to research, analyze, document, and
• Experience preparing and reviewing technical accounting memoranda and working with external auditors
