Director, Technical Accounting and Financial Reporting

📋 Description

• Based in SF; oversee global financial reporting and US GAAP statements
• Lead regulated-entity reporting compliance with evolving regulations
• Advise on accounting for product launches and complex transactions
• Develop GAAP policies; support post-merger integration and launches
• Build internal controls aligned with Capital One SOX standards
• Drive process improvements via automation and AI initiatives

🎯 Requirements

• BA/BS in Business, Finance, or Accounting
• CPA license
• 10+ years of experience including Big 4 and/or leadership in high-growth companies
• Strong technical accounting and financial reporting knowledge in US GAAP
• Deep understanding of financial services, credit card processing or payment-related accounting
• Experience using DFIN, Workiva or similar financial reporting platforms
