DIS-TRAN Steel Internal Transfer Portal - Supply Chain Coordinator

📋 Description

• Coordinate assigned purchase orders from approved requisition through supplier acknowledgment
• Confirm quantities, pricing, freight terms, committed ship dates, and other order requirements and
• Monitor open orders, contact suppliers for status updates, and identify delays or risks before they
• Expedite steel, fabricated components, hardware, MRO supplies, replacement parts, tooling
• Support material planning by reviewing demand, open orders, inventory balances, lead times, reorder
• Assist with inventory accuracy, cycle counts, item identification, stock transfers, material

🎯 Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Two or more years of experience in purchasing, expediting, materials management, inventory
• Experience in manufacturing, heavy industry, metals, fabrication, or a related industrial
• Ability to read and interpret purchase orders, specifications, drawings, bills of material
• Strong organizational, follow-up, communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Outlook and the ability to work in ERP or materials-management
