Distributed Systems Engineer - Data Platform - Logs and Audit Logs

📋 Description

• Design, build, and operate a robust logging platform.
• Develop and maintain high-performance data connectors and integrations.
• Create and manage systems for comprehensive audit logs.
• Scale and optimize the data delivery pipeline for massive data volumes.
• Collaborate with Product and other engineering teams to define logging requirements.
• Maintain operational health with monitoring and on-call rotations.

🎯 Requirements

• 3+ years in software development with distributed systems and data pipelines.
• Strong Go skills; other languages welcome.
• Proficiency with Prometheus and Grafana; scale with high-cardinality metrics.
• SQL expertise, including query optimisation.
• Experience with data streaming (Kafka, Flink) is a plus.
• Experience with logging platforms or SIEMs and storage destinations (S3/GCS) is a plus.
