Distribution Engineer III

📋 Description

• Lead design, analysis, and optimization of distribution systems (4–69 kV).
• Prepare field notes, drawings, specs, calculations, and cost estimates.
• Perform load flow, fault analysis, voltage drop, and protective device coordination.
• Ensure engineering designs comply with IEEE, NEC, NESC, and local standards.
• Provide engineering leadership and mentor junior engineers.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams, contractors, and utility partners.

🎯 Requirements

• 6-8 years of experience in distribution system engineering and design.
• Experience with project management in engineering.
• Advanced knowledge of power systems, load flow, fault analysis, and protection.
• Proficiency with AutoCAD, MicroStation, and GIS.
• Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering (ABET-accredited).
• Strong communication and teamwork with clients and teams.
