Divisional Controller, Fund Accounting

📋 Description

• Own post-close fund accounting records: reconciliations, NAVs, PCAPs, and statements.
• Evolve controls for fund ledgers, NAVs, and capital calls/distributions (quarterly).
• Lead annual audits with auditors and external partners on fund-related/regulatory reporting.
• Lead annual K-1 preparation and distribution to investors.
• Own the Hiive Fund valuation process to ensure auditable, accurate valuations.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with fund services, legal, sales & trading, corporate finance.

🎯 Requirements

• 5+ years of fund accounting or fund administration experience
• Experience preparing fund-level financial statements and coordinating audits
• Experience preparing or reviewing K-1s or other year-end tax documents
• Strong understanding of NAV calculations, capital calls, and distributions
• Experience operating in a regulated financial services or fintech environment
• CPA designation or equivalent accounting credential
