DMU (Digital Mock-Up) Engineer

📋 Description

• Own the complete DMU for complex drone systems across structural, mechanical and electrical
• Drive clash resolution, space analyses and design maturity across cross-functional teams.
• Lead 3D design reviews and ensure DMU baselines drive programme milestones.
• Organise cross-functional reviews to assess integration against CAD/PLM standards.
• Balance hardware constraints with modelling accuracy and data quality.

🎯 Requirements

• Experience in DMU management and 3D packaging for aerospace/defence systems.
• Proficient with CAD/PLM tools (Siemens NX/Teamcenter VisMockup, CATIA, SolidWorks/PDM).
• Ability to define modelling standards and enforce data quality across teams.
• Strong capability to track weight, COF, and critical vehicle properties for configuration decisions.
• Excellent cross-functional collaboration and ability to present results to stakeholders.
• Familiarity with VR/virtual validation of assembly sequences is a bonus.
