Document Control Specialist

📋 Description

• Process engineering changes end to end in Teamcenter, including intake, completeness screening
• Perform first-pass review on submitted changes covering required fields, attached documentation
• Coordinate and document the change review board, including package preparation, agenda, decisions
• Coordinate change effectivity and disposition of affected inventory, work-in-process, open purchase
• Track change cycle time and aging, first-pass completeness, backlog, and implementation status, and
• Maintain document and record control, including numbering, revision history, and controlled release

🎯 Requirements

• Hands-on experience processing engineering changes in a PLM system such as Teamcenter, Arena
• Solid understanding of BOMs, part numbers, and revision levels, and their downstream impact on
• Understanding of the relationship between PLM, ERP/MRP, procurement, and manufacturing execution.
• Ability to read an engineering drawing and identify what a change affects.
• Ability to interpret BOM structures, engineering drawings, specifications, and revision changes and
• Meticulous attention to detail and the persistence to follow up with engineering on missing
