Drone Field Engineer

📋 Description

• Test software and hardware in lab and field settings (flying drones) and provide feedback to
• Pack, transport, set up, test, and pack equipment at test locations (airfields).
• Install AI software on edge computing devices using in-house deployment tools.
• Help design and improve test plans and safety SOPs.
• Define and secure resources for field testing, including hardware purchases and secure storage.
• Prepare safety cases and aviation authority submissions as needed.

• Strong technical aptitude; ability to understand complex hardware and software at a systems level.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; capable of clear technical documentation.
• Natural problem solver; can own critical workstreams and take initiative.
