📋 Description

• Own the design and delivery of Windfall's scenario modeling platform.
• Define economic primitives for scenarios and map shocks to occupations.
• Propagate shocks through quantitative models to produce outputs.
• Lead country-level methodology, index construction, weighting, and uncertainty.
• Evaluate methods and data sources across diverse statistical infrastructures.
• Simulate policy responses and perform sensitivity analysis.

🎯 Requirements

• Advanced degree in economics or related quantitative field; 5+ years modeling.
• Hands-on experience across multiple modeling approaches (tax-benefit, microsimulation, macro).
• Publication record with external scrutiny (peer review or government clearance).
• Experience with distributional analysis of labor shocks or tech adoption.
• Familiarity with AI-and-labor literature; adaptable to learn.
• Comfort in a fast-moving, remote, international team with self-direction.
