EDA Engineer (RFIC Engineering)

📋 Description

• Support day-to-day EDA workflows for RFIC/silicon teams (tools, PDK, sim, PV, extraction)
• Assist analog/RF/mixed-signal flows (Virtuoso/Spectre/EM) plus digital/physical verification
• Triage DRC/LVS/PEX, sim, EM, license, and environment issues with reproducible debugging
• Maintain runbooks, wrappers, environment modules, templates, and onboarding materials
• Build lightweight automation in Python/Tcl/SKILL/Shell/Makefile for logs and checks
• Create targeted QA tests for PDK updates and tool changes before broad deployment

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in EE, CE, or CS
• 2+ years in EDA/CAD support, IC design flow, silicon design, or CAD automation
• Hands-on experience with Cadence Virtuoso/Spectre, Calibre, or similar tools
• Linux and scripting: Python, shell, Tcl, Perl, Makefile, SKILL
• Ability to triage issues, document resolutions, and escalate with evidence
• Experience with DRC/LVS/PEX tools and physical verification flows
• Exposure to PDK installation, rule decks, LVS mapping or model files
