EDA Engineer (RFIC Engineering)

📋 Description

• Support day-to-day EDA workflows for RFIC/silicon teams (tool launch, env setup, PDK)
• Support analog/RF/mixed-signal flows (Virtuoso, Spectre, EM) alongside digital
• Triage DRC/LVS/PEX, sim/EM/licensing and HPC issues with reproducible debugging
• Build lightweight automation (Python, Tcl, SKILL, shell, Make) for log collection and preflight checks
• Create/test QA for PDK updates, tool upgrades, and flow changes before deployment
• Maintain runbooks and Confluence docs for EDA flows (DRC/LVS/PEX, Virtuoso, HPC)

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in electrical/computer engineering or computer science
• 2+ years EDA/CAD support or IC design flow experience
• Hands-on with Cadence Virtuoso/Spectre, Calibre, and Synopsys/Cadence tools; DRC/LVS/PEX
• Linux and scripting: Python, Shell, Tcl, Perl, SKILL
• Ability to triage issues, document resolutions, escalate with evidence; willing to work long hours
• Master's degree preferred; exposure to PDK, foundry processes, or HPC
