Elastic Engineer

📋 Description

• Provide data analytics support for cybersecurity data and big data systems.
• Collect and analyze enterprise data sources, formats, and use cases.
• Transform datasets into a common schema by merging event types.
• Assist in design, testing, and resolution of bugs/defects.
• Consolidate metadata, data management, and search into a Cybersecurity Data Catalog.
• Translate data into actionable insights via analytics for quick decision-making.

🎯 Requirements

• Must be able to obtain Public Trust clearance.
• Bachelor’s degree with 7+ years or Master’s with 3-5 years related experience.
• 5+ years Linux scripting and automation (Bash, Python, Java).
• Experience installing and administering COTS apps on RHEL/CentOS.
• Proficient in building, monitoring, tuning, and troubleshooting AWS instances.
• Ansible Automation expertise (or similar tool).
