Electrical Distribution System (EDS) Technician

📋 Description

• Install, integrate, and validate electrical distribution systems — wiring harnesses, power
• Work closely with mechanical and software teams to translate power and signal requirements into
• Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical faults, shorts, and wiring issues on prototype and production
• Build, test, and repair wiring harnesses to automotive-grade standards
• Support basic mechanical assembly tasks (sensor and actuator mounting, connector and bracket
• Support vehicle build, integration, and test cycles, ensuring electrical systems meet reliability

🎯 Requirements

• Associate degree or technical certification in Electrical/Electronics Technology, Automotive
• 2+ years of experience with automotive or industrial electrical distribution systems, wiring
• Proficient reading electrical schematics and wiring diagrams
• Working knowledge of low-voltage vehicle electrical systems; experience with 12V/24V/high-voltage
• Familiarity with NEC/NFPA 70E or equivalent electrical safety standards
• Hands-on experience with hand tools, power tools, torque tools, crimping tools, and test equipment
