Electrical Engineer

📋 Description

• Conduct protection relay testing, commissioning and maintenance of substations
• Perform transformer, circuit breaker, cable and earth testing
• Carry out thermography and corona inspections on electrical assets
• Undertake fault finding, testing, repair and maintenance of low-voltage and high-voltage electrical
• Read and interpret single-line diagrams to support testing and maintenance activities
• Produce accurate testing records and formal technical reports

🎯 Requirements

• Tertiary qualification in Electrical Engineering
• Current WA C Class Driver’s Licence
• Demonstrated experience with MV and HV switchgear, transformers, HV cables, switchboards and
• Proven experience producing technical reports and accurately recording test data
• Ability to read and interpret single-line diagrams
• Strong communication, organisational and time management skills
