Electrical Engineer- Data Centers

📋 Description

• Lead electrical engineering evaluations for data center sites and build-to-suit projects.
• Assess power capacity, utility availability, interconnection, and infrastructure readiness.
• Define electrical strategies, redundancy, and equipment selection for scalable AI infra.
• Collaborate with internal teams, utilities, and contractors for successful delivery.
• Evaluate substation requirements and timelines to support project delivery.
• Document design assumptions and risk mitigation throughout acquisition to development.

🎯 Requirements

• 8+ years in data center electrical engineering, power systems, or mission-critical infra.
• Strong expertise in medium-voltage distribution, switchgear, UPS, generators, and utility
• Experience evaluating electrical feasibility for data center sites pre-commitment.
• Solid understanding of capacity planning, redundancy architectures, and capex trade-offs.
• Experience supporting hyperscale AI infra and large-scale tech environments is preferred.
• PE license or similar certification is a plus; strong communication skills required.
