Electrical Engineer (Physical Infrastructure)

📋 Description

• Design and engineer electrical systems for on-site power generation, high-voltage transmission, and
• Develop single-line diagrams, protection & control schematics, relay settings, and
• Perform detailed power system studies (load flow, short circuit, arc flash, transient stability
• Integrate electrical systems with generators, battery storage, transmission infrastructure, and
• Ensure compliance with relevant standards (NERC, ERCOT, IEEE, NEC, NFPA, UL) and support permitting
• Support equipment specification, vendor selection, factory testing, site commissioning, and

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or electrical engineering technology.
• Experience in Battery Storage, Power Transmission, or Power Generation preferred.
• Background with data centers/ hyperscale facilities or large on-site power infrastructure (>50
• Knowledge of ERCOT, NERC reliability standards, and utility interconnection processes.
• Experience supporting construction, commissioning, and operations of power systems; track record of
• Ability to travel up to 50%; valid driver’s license; willingness for extended hours and demanding
