Electrical Engineer, Traffic & Transport

📋 Description

• Lead and deliver electrical design across public lighting, signals, and ITS
• Undertake feasibility studies, concept development, and detailed design
• Prepare EQL documentation for Rate 2 and Rate 3 lighting designs
• Develop reports, specs, BoQs, scopes of work, and datasheets
• Provide site support, construction advice, and commissioning assistance
• Ensure compliance with EQL, TMR, council, and Australian standards

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical or Electronic Engineering (or equivalent)
• 3+ years’ experience in electrical design, ideally within transport infrastructure
• Public lighting design within EQL (Rate 2 & Rate 3)
• Traffic signals design (TMR, BCC, and other councils)
• ITS experience (desirable)
• Strong knowledge of Australian standards including AS/NZS 1158 and AS/NZS 4282
