Electrical Engineering Technician

📋 Description

• Assist project engineers with layout and design of high voltage substations, switchyards, power
• Generate and review internal project drawings, one-line drawings, three-line drawings, AC/DC
• Generate required calculations and cable schedule documents
• Make changes and corrections to drawings as instructed
• Perform batch plotting of project drawings in preparation for delivery to customer
• Perform various calculations for cabling, battery sizing, lighting design, AC load and ground grid

🎯 Requirements

• Vocational or technical certification as an Electrical Engineering Technician or an Associate
• Strong background in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Knowledge of AutoCAD, Microstation, CDEGS grounding software (preferred)
• Ability to perform duties safely and adhere to each job site's safety requirements
