Electrical Technician (Power Generation)

📋 Description

• Perform operations and maintenance on plant electrical systems, including generators, transformers
• Execute switching, isolation, LOTO, racking of breakers, and restoration of medium-voltage
• Troubleshoot electrical faults on power distribution, protection, grounding, lighting, and
• Perform preventive and predictive maintenance, inspections, and repairs to improve reliability and
• Support plant startups, shutdowns, outages, and commissioning activities alongside operators
• Install, terminate, and maintain plant electrical equipment, cable, and control wiring as required

🎯 Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalency certificate
• 3+ years of experience as an electrical technician, industrial electrician, or similar role
• Experience operating and maintaining medium-voltage electrical systems (4.16 kV to 34.8 kV)
• Experience in a power plant, generating station, or other high-reliability industrial facility
• Ability to read and interpret single-line diagrams, electrical schematics, and equipment O&M
• Experience with LOTO, switching procedures, and NFPA 70E / arc-flash safety practices
