Electrical Test and Reliability Engineer, Satellites (Starlink)

📋 Description

• Design and develop automated test solutions for avionics and payload hardware
• Select COTS hardware or design PCBA to measure signals and apply flight-like loads
• Write Python automation software to interact with units under test and test equipment
• Support hardware through production, satellite integration, and flight
• Collaborate with mechanical, thermal, software, and other engineers to deliver high-performance hardware
• Perform electrical bench testing and model failures to inform mitigation

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, computer engineering, physics, or other STEM
• 1+ years of hardware development or electronics test engineering (internship acceptable)
• Proficiency in Python; familiarity with C/C++
• Experience designing/troubleshooting PCBA and functional test plans
• Experience with test equipment: oscilloscope, multimeter, spectrum analyzer, network analyzer
• Understanding of electrical schematics, electronics manufacturing, and reliability
• Ability to work extended hours or weekends; on-call rotations may be required
