Electromechanical Technician (Starshield) - Level 4/5

📋 Description

• Fabricate and assemble high-quality electromechanical assemblies
• Self-monitor progress against area benchmarks to meet on-time delivery
• Read and interpret drawings and controlled documents including GD&T
• Record work in ERP and use MS Outlook
• Verify flight hardware and document results clearly
• Assist with production process development for first-time runs
• Assist with area efficiency improvement projects
• Run tests in HASS, HALT, and thermal chambers
• Identify quality issues from workmanship, vendor defects, or design issues

🎯 Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalency certificate
• 5+ years of experience using mechanical hand tools
• Associate degree
• 8+ years experience with wire harnesses and/or electronics equipment
• Experience in fast-paced production environment working with flight hardware
• Experience in high production environment with hands-on harness/electro-mechanical assemblies or prototype development
• Ability to adapt to constant changing work assignments and fast-paced work environment
• Excellent communication (written and verbal) and teamwork skills
• Excellent concentration and attention to detail with outstanding work efficiency and accuracy
• ITAR requirements: U.S. citizen or eligible for authorization
• Willing to work all shifts, overtime and/or weekends as needed (1st shift 5am, 2nd shift 3pm)
• Standing for long periods, climbing ladders, bending, grasping, sitting, pulling, pushing, stooping
• Ability to lift up to 25lbs, unassisted
• Ability to distinguish colors
