Elementary School: Lead Teacher - Greater Boston (2027-2028)

📋 Description

• Serve as a lead or co-lead in a classroom with responsibilities including leading a class
• Ensure all children are affirmed, valued, and challenged every day
• Foster a positive and safe learning environment
• Prepare and internalize rigorous and engaging unit and daily lessons, leveraging provided
• When applicable, create and internalize academically aligned lesson plans, unit plans, rubrics, and
• Set specific, ambitious growth goals with all students and identify and leverage necessary

🎯 Requirements

• 2+ years of full-time teaching experience
• Bachelor's Degree required
• Deep alignment with KIPP MA's mission and values
• Demonstrated ability to drive student growth and achievement and create a warm, inclusive, rigorous
• Passion for subject/content area and commitment to professional learning
• Pass Criminal Background Check

🎁 Benefits

• Minimum base salary $55,000 to $89,500 per year (per 1.0 FTE/45 hours per week), depending on
• +$3,000 for 1st advanced degree and +$1,500 for 2nd advanced degree
• $1,000 signing bonus and annual $2,000 retention bonus in subsequent years
• Other bonuses when eligible
• School Year calendar schedule
