Embedded Hardware Engineer

📋 Description

• Architect, design, and lay out schematics and PCBs for motorized window covering products and
• Own antenna design, matching, and RF certification support (FCC, UL/Demko, UKCA, CE) for wireless
• Design and evaluate battery management and rechargeable battery systems, including battery
• Design DC motor drive circuitry and support magnetic Hall-effect sensor / quadrature encoding for
• Be the company's Altium expert: schematic entry, library and component management
• Work directly with prototype and production PCB/CCA suppliers, and with test/manufacturing

🎯 Requirements

• 8+ years of hands-on embedded electronics design experience, including complex mixed-signal and RF
• Demonstrated track record of taking consumer hardware (ideally battery-operated, wireless) from
• Comfortable being the senior technical voice in the room — mentoring junior engineers and reviewing
• Able to work across disciplines (ME, ID, firmware, manufacturing, contract manufacturers) to get a
• Expert knowledge of electronic circuit design (especially battery-operated, RF devices)
• Expert-level Altium PCBA design skills, including library/component management and Altium 365
