Employee Relations Partner

📋 Description

• Act as trusted advisor to frontline managers and leadership on employee matters
• Partner with Legal, People Partners, and business leadership to resolve sensitive workplace issues
• Drive a culture of performance enablement, inclusivity, and respect across the Gusto community
• Manage investigations, disciplinary action plans, and high-stakes conversations
• Balance employee experience with business and legal risk in ambiguous situations
• Maintain thorough, legally defensible documentation across ER cases

🎯 Requirements

• 4+ years HR Generalist experience or 2+ years in Employee Relations/HRBP
• Proven ability to handle complex, sensitive ER matters with discretion
• Strong collaboration with Legal and cross-functional teams
• Excellent communication, coaching, and analytical skills
• Knowledge of HR best practices, employment laws, and industry trends
• Ability to surface systemic risks and drive actionable insights
