Employee Relations Specialist

📋 Description

• Conduct investigations of complaints and grievances, including harassment and discrimination.
• Make recommendations with stakeholders for Employee Relations issues.
• Document findings and write investigation summaries for ThinkLP.
• Coach and advise managers on ER matters (performance, policy, conflict, discipline).
• Monitor compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws; identify risks and coordinate mitigation.
• Must travel up to 90% of the time to visit sites in your region.

🎯 Requirements

• 3-5 years HR experience, including 1 year in Employee Relations, investigations, and field ops.
• Experience supporting California operations and familiarity with California employment laws.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Professional fluency in Spanish preferred.
• End-to-end investigation skills; US employment laws (FMLA, ADA, EEO, Title VII).
• Cross-functional collaboration across departments.
• Multitask, prioritize, and manage time efficiently.
