Employment Counsel

📋 Description

• Advise HR, ER, and leaders on employee relations and employment law.
• Guide on sensitive workplace matters for defensible decisions.
• Support full lifecycle: recruiting, onboarding, classifications, background checks.
• Oversee investigations; advise on strategy, docs, findings, remediation.
• Manage employment-related claims, charges, mediations, and litigation with outside counsel.
• Draft and update policies and handbooks to meet legal requirements.

🎯 Requirements

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) and active bar membership; California bar preferred.
• 7+ years in employment law; firm and in-house.
• Experience in litigation, charges, investigations, and policy development.
• Advising on employee relations, performance, leaves, terminations, high-risk matters.
• Experience supporting large multinational or high-growth orgs.
• Experience handling NA/Americas employment matters.
