Employment Counsel

📋 Description

• Provide strategic advice to People team on US employment issues.
• Oversee internal workplace investigations.
• Investigate and respond to employment-related claims and inquiries.
• Manage pre-litigation and litigation matters with outside counsel.
• Draft, review, and negotiate employment documents and templates.
• Develop, update employment policies to ensure compliance.

🎯 Requirements

• 5+ years of employment law in firm or in-house.
• JD from an accredited institution.
• Active U.S. state bar membership.
• Strong knowledge of FLSA, ADA, FMLA, Title VII, and state laws.
• Experience conducting or managing workplace investigations.
• Familiarity with OFCCP audits, AAP, VEVRAA, and Section 503 requirements.
