Employment Counsel

📋 Description

• Provide strategic advice and counsel to the People team and business stakeholders on a broad range
• Oversee internal workplace investigations, including matters involving harassment, discrimination
• Investigate and respond to claims, demand letters, administrative complaints, audits, and other
• Manage pre-litigation and litigation matters with the assistance of outside counsel as needed
• Draft, review, and negotiate employment-related documents and templates, including offer letters
• Develop, review, and update employment policies, standards, and HR guidelines to ensure compliance

🎯 Requirements

• At least 5 years of relevant employment law experience at a law firm and/or in-house legal
• JD from an accredited institution
• Active and in good standing in at least one U.S. state bar
• Strong working knowledge of U.S. federal and state employment laws, including FLSA, ADA, FMLA
• Experience conducting or managing workplace investigations
• Familiarity with federal contractor compliance obligations, including OFCCP audits, AAP
