Employment Specialist

📋 Description

• Conduct assessments and interviews with clients to determine eligibility for employment services.
• Maintain in-depth knowledge of DDA and DVR regulations.
• Provide ongoing support to assist clients in obtaining and retaining independent employment.
• Assist clients in furthering their career growth and skill building.
• Document data and notes on individuals' progress toward goals and barriers to employment.
• Establish and maintain strong community partnerships with other service providers and employers.

🎯 Requirements

• High school diploma or GED; Bachelor's degree in social service field preferred
• At least 21 years of age
• One year related experience/training in employment services with people in crisis
• Valid driver's license, insurance, and access to insured vehicle
• Self-starter, excellent time management, proactive problem solver
