EMR Support Specialist

📋 Description

• Provide front line support for EMR software via setup, troubleshooting, issue resolution.
• Identify and implement EMR usability and workflow improvements.
• Customize dynamic forms, patient forms, visit notes, and templates.
• Set up automated appointment reminders (SMS, calls, emails).
• Configure eFax, Dymo Label Printer, Medscan apps; set up DIRECT email domains.
• Implement e-prescribing and test Patient Portal/Telehealth features.

🎯 Requirements

• Experience with Medical Records software and typical medical office workflow.
• Able to work under pressure during outages or cyber attacks.
• Able to follow instructions and execute tasks.
• Quick to grasp new information; assist with urgent tasks.
• Knowledge to modify workflows to improve efficiency/revenue.
• Knowledge of setting up e-prescribing for meds and controlled substances.
