Energy Supply Lead - Power Supply and PPA

📋 Description

• Own the front-of-meter supply plan for the United States: for each grid-connected site and market
• Take that plan to market. Build and keep relationships with generation owners, developers
• Structure and negotiate PPAs, tolls, capacity agreements, and other long-term supply agreements
• Make supply work under each market's rules: through retail providers and load-serving entities in
• Design the supply portfolio to deliver Anthropic's ratepayer-protection commitment, and be able to
• Collaborate with Energy Finance on deal valuation and the risk view behind it: forward curves

🎯 Requirements

• 10+ years in power origination, structuring, or energy procurement, including PPAs or long-term
• Bought power for a large load (a data center operator, industrial, utility, cooperative, or retail
• Knowledge of at least two US ISO/RTO markets (ERCOT, PJM, MISO, SPP, or others) well enough to
• Can build and interrogate a deal valuation yourself, and can say what a fixed-price, shaped, index
• Can read and mark up a PPA yourself, using counsel well without handing over commercial judgment.
• Understand credit support and project finance well enough to know what a developer's lenders need
