Engineer Manager - Perception, Self-Driving Systems

📋 Description

• Own perception model end-to-end: architecture, training, eval, deployment.
• Drive a camera-first perception strategy to reduce map/lidar dependency.
• Lead training cycles; analyze data, dashboards, and failure analyses.
• Own model performance across deployment surfaces: highway, urban, residential, etc.
• Manage model lifecycle from training to embedded deployment with optimizations.
• Recruit, develop, and technically lead a team of perception engineers.

🎯 Requirements

• 5+ years in ML/deep learning for perception or 3D scene understanding.
• 2+ years managing a perception team.
• Experience building production perception systems, camera-first solutions.
• Deploy perception models to embedded hardware under real-time constraints.
• Strong software engineering in Python and C++, across training to onboard inference.
• Experience scaling perception models across multiple geographies, sensor setups, or vehicle platforms.
