Engineering Construction Project Manager

📋 Description

• Oversee improvements to major water facilities (plants, intakes, pumping stations, reservoirs, tunnels).
• Manage water facility construction with electrical, mechanical, structural, processes, and architectural scopes.
• Lead project teams; monitor consultants' contractual compliance.
• Manage hiring of resident engineer and field inspector to oversee projects.
• Collaborate with Resident Engineer to ensure contract compliance.
• Manage all construction phases from start to closeout.

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in civil, structural, or mechanical engineering or related discipline.
• 6+ years of relevant experience or equivalency.
• Interpersonal skills: client interaction, public speaking, persuasive ability.
• Strong project financial management; lead multi-disciplinary teams.
• Professional Engineer license in Illinois or ability to obtain within 6 months.
• PMP Certification.
