Engineering Director

📋 Description

• Set technical direction for two groups: IPC and Enrollment Platform Core.
• Provide architectural oversight across configuration, enrollment engine, and event-sourced domain
• Drive repeatability via configuration-driven patterns over bespoke solutions.
• Own delivery commitments and communicate status to leadership.
• Collaborate with Product, Delivery Management, Underwriting, and Compliance to surface dependencies.
• Drive AI adoption and responsible tooling across teams.

🎯 Requirements

• 8+ years software development experience with 5+ years in engineering management (managing
• Proven experience with distributed systems and microservices at scale.
• Fluent in Golang and/or Python; API design with gRPC/REST; PostgreSQL expertise.
• Cloud experience (GCP preferred) and Kubernetes familiarity.
• Strong ability to guide architectural decisions and negotiate interfaces across teams.
• Emphasis on automated testing, metrics, and scalable testing strategies.
