Engineering Intern, Product Security

📋 Description

• Gain in-depth knowledge of Illumio's platform and product security protections
• Learn vulnerability identification, triage, and remediation using SAST/DAST tools
• Participate in secure code reviews and threat modeling with security engineers
• Build security automation scripts and tools for vulnerability detection
• Research emerging threats and mitigation strategies for our tech stack
• Contribute to security documentation and promote secure coding practices

🎯 Requirements

• Enrolled in Bachelor's or Master's in CS, Cybersecurity, or related field
• Expected graduation date in Winter 2026/Spring 2027
• Coursework or project experience in secure coding or application security
• Familiarity with at least one language (Python, Ruby, Go, C++)
• Basic understanding of OWASP Top 10 vulnerabilities is a plus
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
