Engineering Manager

📋 Description

• The Engineering Manager leads technical direction, team development, and delivery of payment
• Own architectural decisions for integration patterns, microservices, event-driven systems, and
• Guide engineers through complex technical challenges with hands-on support when needed.
• Promote API design, testing, security, performance, and maintainability best practices.
• Collaborate with Product, Backend, Payments, and cross-functional teams to align solutions with
• Ensure systems scale, are well-documented, and support enterprise-level transaction volumes.

🎯 Requirements

• Proven experience managing and developing engineering teams (hiring, coaching, performance
• Strong technical leadership with architectural decision-making and prioritization.
• Experience in payments/fintech and payment integrations.
• Deep understanding of payment systems: PSP integrations, transaction flows, routing, optimization.
• Backend engineering background with Java, Golang, Kotlin or similar; microservices and APIs.
• Relational databases and SQL; secure software development and OWASP principles.
