Engineering Manager

📋 Description

• Build a healthy, high-trust team culture in a remote-first, distributed environment.
• Run 1:1s, performance management, career development, and onboarding for direct reports.
• Own the hiring plan and act as Hiring Manager; first-round interviewer.
• Partner with Talent Acquisition to source, interview, and close strong candidates.
• Own the team's roadmap and project management (Linear), driving milestones.
• Manage workflow intake and Slack triage; prioritize cross-team requests.

🎯 Requirements

• 5+ years of engineering experience with depth to credibly work with engineers.
• 3+ years managing remote engineering teams.
• Experience leading cloud, SaaS, or developer-tools teams; DB familiarity a plus.
• Experience managing globally distributed teams across time zones.
• Strong people-management track record with performance conversations.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; async-first.
