Engineering Manager

📋 Description

• Serve as a go-to technical resource for engineering staff, providing day-to-day mentorship and
• Coach and develop project engineers and design technicians, empowering them to build the skills and
• Lead QA/QC review of project engineering deliverables: studies, reports, plans, specifications
• Troubleshoot complex technical problems and help resolve project bottlenecks in real time.
• Review and provide guidance on roadway, stormwater, and grading design to ensure buildable
• Partner with project managers to keep technical work aligned with scope, schedule, and budget.

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field
• Registered PE in the state of Illinois (or ability to obtain reciprocity)
• 10+ years of experience in transportation engineering, including roadway, stormwater, and grading
• Demonstrated experience mentoring engineers and design technicians
• Strong QA/QC background with an eye for detail and technical rigor
• Proficiency in Bentley OpenRoads Designer and AutoCAD Civil 3D preferred
