Engineering Manager

📋 Description

• Lead SAP squads, owning delivery outcomes, team health, and quality.
• Partner with Product to maintain backlog, align priorities, and sequence work.
• Develop direct reports through 1:1s, clear expectations, feedback, and growth plans.
• Manage stakeholders, escalate risks, and align across functions.
• Champion modern practices: TDD, CI/CD, trunk-based development, solid design patterns.
• Influence cross-team decisions with Principal/Staff Engineers on architecture and tooling.

🎯 Requirements

• Proven experience in technical leadership with direct people management.
• Experience with SAP/enterprise platforms; AWS cloud migration valued.
• Ability to operate across multi-squad delivery, managing priorities.
• Experience coaching engineers and team leads through structured feedback.
• Ability to manage broad stakeholders with proactive risk communication.
• Strong grounding in CI/CD, testing, design patterns, and DevOps tooling.
