Engineering Manager

📋 Description

• Partner with recruiting to hire and mentor a global full-stack, backend, and frontend team.
• Set coding standards, reviews, and architecture; align with security and design guidelines.
• Collaborate with product managers to define vision, roadmap, and resources.
• Own mission-critical work streams: planning, deployment, production monitoring.
• Balance tech debt, customer issues, and features to deliver value on time.
• Manage metrics: velocity, quality, deployments; report progress up.

🎯 Requirements

• 8+ years in software dev; 2+ yrs leading 4-6 engineers on SaaS.
• Experience managing distributed offshore teams; builds diverse, inclusive teams.
• Deep knowledge of agile processes; iterative development to ship early and often.
• Customer-centric product thinker; works with product partners to set strategy, supported by metrics and goals.
• Excellent communication with tech and non-tech stakeholders.
• Technical background in cloud/SaaS, architecture, design, and databases.
