Engineering Manager

📋 Description

• Manage delivery of complex solutions against OKRs/OKIs.
• Establish squad structure and processes; remove impediments.
• Create an engineering squad from scratch; lead CI/CD within squad.
• Track work in progress; visualize progress; measure burn-downs/burn-ups.
• Coordinate dependencies with other squads; ensure successful integrations.
• Drive delivery efficiency; deliver robust, agile code; continuous delivery.

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics, Electronics, Engineering or related field.
• At least 6 years of experience in software development with at least 2 methodologies.
• Experience with distributed systems and SQL query execution.
• Proficiency in at least 2 of: Scala, C#/C++, JavaScript/React, SQL, Python, Golang.
• Metadata and data pipeline management for data discovery, lineage, governance.
• At least 4 years hands-on experience with Hive Metastore and federated designs.
