Engineering Manager

📋 Description

• Determine where tech investments must be made to maintain system health and long-term success.
• Work with engineers to plan, sequence, discuss tradeoffs, and deliver measurable success.
• Hire and coach an exceptional team through one-on-one’s, goal setting, and conflict resolution.
• Maintain a continuously improving, honest, and visible delivery cadence.
• Close ownership gaps and build durable fixes to keep the team on track.
• Manage urgency and escalate early to stay ahead of risks.

🎯 Requirements

• 4+ years of hands-on experience managing a team of five or more engineers and testers.
• Strong understanding of distributed, backend systems and user-facing features, ideally related to
• Excellent communication skills with proven experience collaborating across engineering teams and
• Cultivate high-performing engineering squads by utilizing thoughtful delegation, defining distinct
• Solid technical fluency to ask critical questions, align cross-functional partners, and effectively
• Demonstrated track record of building and shipping mission-critical B2C systems where data
