Engineering Manager

📋 Description

• Lead and mentor a team of engineers with ownership and continuous improvement.
• Own technical direction, architecture, and delivery roadmap for core platform domains.
• Design agentic workflows for AI systems to plan, execute, and adapt testing activities.
• Spend ~20-30% of time on production code, reviews, designs, and bottlenecks.
• Modernize legacy systems, reduce debt, and ensure reliability without disrupting production.
• Establish engineering practices around planning, design reviews, standards, and delivery quality.

🎯 Requirements

• 5+ years in engineering management, remote/agile environments with teams of 4+
• Hands-on production coding and familiarity with evolving production systems
• Proven ability to contribute to codebase, review code, and make architectural decisions
• Hands-on experience with LLM-powered or agentic features in production
• Strong TS/Node.js/AWS/React skills with solid API design
• GraphQL and Kafka familiarity a plus
