📋 Description

• Build, lead, and develop a high performing team of engineers.
• Own the technical strategy and roadmap for Decagon’s orchestration engine.
• Drive architecture for systems coordinating complex reasoning and actions at scale.
• Define reliability, testing, and observability standards across the orchestration stack.
• Create guardrails enabling fast, safe iteration on agent behavior.
• Partner with Product, Research, and Infrastructure to ship multi-quarter initiatives.

🎯 Requirements

• 2+ years of engineering management leading high-performing teams.
• Strong technical depth and IC foundation to guide architecture.
• Experience building distributed systems and real-time platforms.
• Track record delivering multi-quarter projects through ambiguity.
• Commitment to engineering craft, testing, observability, and incident learning.
• Clear communication and cross-team collaboration.
